Life Stages and Wellness Care Recommendations

Dogs

Everyone knows that they need to have a physical exam annually, and sometimes more frequently as we grow older. Likewise, our pets need to be examined yearly to detect any hidden problems that may become more severe if undiagnosed. We want to ensure that your pet can be as healthy as possible for their age and lifestyle.

The Importance of a Comprehensive Physical Exam
The physical exam is the most significant service that your veterinarian will provide because every diagnosis will begin here. The Doctor will check every aspect of your pet’s health including eyes, ears, teeth, skin and coat condition, joint mobility, and behavioral issues. The results from this exam will determine the course of action for your pet’s health care. We have many other services at our disposal, including the ability to perform bloodwork, ultrasound, radiographs, urinalysis etc. The physical exam allows the doctor the ability to determine which of the diagnostic tests would be most beneficial to further help with your pet’s course of healthcare.
